Are you & your dog ready to start living your best lives together?
Board And Train
Programs we Offer:
-
This is what we would consider our “preschool” program. This is an excellent option for younger dogs and low-key, easy-going dogs a year old or younger (unless discussed with Kait directly)! There will not be “outings” during this program - all training will be done in our facilities. We will focus on all on-leash skills in this program. Dogs must be crate trained to be eligible for this program (that means quiet & calm in the crate).
This program is right for your dog if:
-Your dog is completely crate trained (calm and quiet in the crate)
-Your dog is generally easy going but need a few training “tune ups”
-Your dog has no major behavioral issues but you would just like them to have more skills & commands
-Your dog has prior experience with training that you would like to build on
Investment: $1750*
-
This program is designed for owners seeking a head-start to achieving excellent obedience from their dog and a healthy, happy mindset, both on and off-leash. This is an excellent option for those owners looking to work on their dog's overall manners. However, our focus will always be MINDSET over OBEDIENCE.
This program is right for your dog if:
-Your dog has very minor behavioral quirks that do not largely impact their day to day
-You would like your dog to have a more consistent, calm, focused, and healthy mindset
-You would like your dog to have better manners inside and outside the home (on and off leash)
-Your dog may or may not have experience training but generally responds well to direction
Investment: Starting at $2,950*
-
This has been our most common and popular program! Similar to the two-week program, we focus on manners with Mindset over Obedience in mind. If your dog has some quirks like: minor reactivity, a bit of anxiety, barks a lot, pulls intensely on a leash and lacks manners, this program is probably for you and your dog!
This program is right for your dog if:
-Your dog has behavior quirks (such as those mentioned above) that we need to address
-You would like your dog to consistently show better manners inside and outside of the home
--You would like your dog to have a more consistent, calm, focused, and healthy mindset
Investment: Starting at $3550*
-
Does your dog have a few extra quirks? This program is designed for owners seeking a fundamental change in their dog’s mindset. This comprehensive program focuses on addressing your dog’s behavioral challenges. This program is for dogs with more severe behaviors, such as intense leash reactivity, minor dog aggression, minor separation anxiety, etc. This program will be an incredible jumpstart in the right direction for you and your dog’s relationship.
This program is right for your dog if:
-Your dog has more serious behaviors (such as those mentioned above) that we need to address
-You would like your dog to consistently show safer and calmer manners inside and outside of the home
-You would like your dog to have a more consistent, calm, focused, and healthy mindset
-You are willing to change your lifestyle, dynamics, and habits in order to best meet the needs of your dog and continue training at home after program completion.
-You realize that this program will be a big jumpstart for you and your dog but major behavioral changes take time and you are willing to put in the work at home to continue growth!
This program is not one-size-fits-all, so please contact Kait to discuss the best program length for your dog. Your dog will need a lifestyle change with you when returning home.
Investment: Starting at $4900*
Price varies depending on the timeline needs of your dog.

This is a newer program that we are offering for those owners looking for the benefits of our immersive board + train program AND having more opportunities to work on the training skills at home during the training process. Your dog will be with us Monday through Friday and home over the weekends. It would be Monday morning drop offs and Friday afternoon pick ups. It’s technically a 3-week program. This gives you more 1:1 lessons with Kait and still includes a full go home on the final training day. If your dog has some quirks like: minor reactivity, a bit of anxiety, barks a lot, pulls intensely on a leash & lacks manners, this program is probably for you and your dog!
This program is right for you and your dog if:
-You would like the opportunity to work on the training back home during the board + train program (you will have to follow a training game-plan to see the results — the weekends cannot be a “free-for-all” if you want to be successful)
-Your dog has behavior quirks (such as those mentioned above) that we need to address
-You would like your dog to consistently show better manners inside and outside of the home
--You would like your dog to have a more consistent, calm, focused, and healthy mindset
Investment: Starting at $3650*

This is an optional add on to any of the above programs booked with Kait! You will spend half a day working directly with Kait and your dog. This is especially helpful for owners that are feeling hesitant or confused on how they will continue this work when they return home. I’ll show you the ropes! This will include a guided outing in a public place & extensively going through all your dog has learned. It will be customized for each dog & owner!

Read through all the information on this page about our board and train programs. Make sure KANE9 feels like the right fit for you, your dog, and your family!
If it feels like the right fit, fill out a board and train application. Our application is lengthy for a reason; If you think it’s important, we want to hear it! The more honest and upfront you are, the more we can tailor the program to meet specific needs.
After you apply, you’ll get an email to refer back to that outlines next steps in the process. These include: a follow up email, any questions I have about your dog/situation, our next availability, health requirements, etc.
If everything looks like a fit on both ends, we will schedule your dog for a program date & you will receive your first invoice. Once that is paid, you will get a confirmation email with specific directions for drop off, go-home, vaccinations, etc.
This isn’t just a reset for your dog—it’s a rebuild for both of you. Our Board & Train program gives your dog the structure, clarity, and mindset work they’ve been missing — and gives you the tools to keep that progress going once they’re home.
While your dog stays with us (Verona, WI) we focus on what matters most:
Clear communication
A regulated nervous system
Confidence without chaos
Reliability in your dog’s training
We move at your dog’s pace — but with real direction and life experiences. And when it’s time for you to step back in? That’s where the real work begins. We don’t just hand your dog back with a list of things to do — we teach you how to lead, guide, and support your dog with calm confidence and follow-through that fits your real life.
Because this isn’t just about training. It’s about building a relationship that feels better — for both of you.

*E-Collar not included in price.
FOR ALL BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION PROGRAM DOGS WILL NEED TO BE MUZZLE CONDITIONED PRIOR TO THEIR TRAINING PROGRAM.
Is This Program Right for You?
Let’s Make Sure We’re Aligned.
We’re not just here to train your dog—we’re here to walk alongside you, the owner. That means we’re deeply invested in your experience, your mindset, and your ability to carry this work forward at home.
Here’s what tells us we’re likely a strong match:
This sounds like you if…
You’re ready to be honest — about what’s feeling hard, what your dog is really struggling with, and where you’re stuck.
You don’t need perfection—but you do want a plan you can follow through on.
You’re open to learning, curious about your dog, and ready to lead with more clarity.
You’re prepared to keep showing up—even when it’s a little messy.
You’ve followed along with KANE9 and already feel like this is the vibe.
This might not be the right fit if…
You’re hoping for a quick fix without being involved in the work at home.
You’re not quite ready to hear honest feedback about your dog— or your role in the process.
You’re stretched too thin to follow through with structure once your dog comes home.
You find yourself downplaying your dog’s behavior to avoid tough conversations.
You’ve never seen our content and aren’t familiar with how we train or communicate.
This work is deep, but it’s doable. We don’t expect you to have it all figured out—but we do believe in showing up honestly, consistently, and with a sense of humor when needed.
Because when you’re willing to grow, your dog will meet you there. And we’ll be right here to guide you through it.
